PLEASE NOTE: If you get a prompt when you click on Finish, you must select Run or Open and not Save. If you can only select Save, or if you do not get a prompt at all, then you must instead click the Windows Start button, navigate to All Programs and The Favorite Start Page and click the Open (as Application) shortcut.
You can specify folders that should get their own box on the page, and folders that should be skipped. More »
You can make some favorites more accessible with the Box setting. The folders you specify
will get their own box on the page. This setting has no effect when exporting.
The folders you specify in Skip (and their sub-folders) will be skipped and
cannot be exported from this page later.
Specify multiple folders by separating their folder names with a space. Use
"double quotes" if a folder name contains a space.
You can use forward slashes and the asterix for advanced expressions. For example, to make a box for every folder
below a top-level folder called news, enter /news/* in the Box field.
Double slashes signifies any level of sub-folders. If you specify a folder without slashes (e.g. news),
it is interpreted as //news and can be anywhere in the structure of favorite folders.
Favorites which do not belong to any folder are stored in a box with no name.
Specify "" (two double quotes) to skip these favorites.
Your selection will be stored in this page and will be remembered the next time this synchronization wizard is shown.

All favorites currently on this page will be added to your Internet Explorer favorites.
This will restore the favorites you had when this page was last built.
The icons on the Favorites menu in Internet Explorer are usually located on the web site
that each favorite refers to. Select cache to tell Internet Explorer to look for these
icons in the graphics cache of The Favorite Start Page instead. Since this is a local folder,
icons will load faster and more reliably. Select web to restore the original location.
See the FAQ for more information.
Please note that keep means setting the locations as they were when this page was last built.

Please specify the disk location of your favorites: More »
The program needs to know the location of the folder on your hard disk where Internet Explorer stores your favorites. If this field is not filled out already,
you must do so before continuing. On Windows XP, the folder is usually
C:\Documents and Settings\user\Favorites
where user is the name of the user currently logged on to Windows.
This error usually occurs when the start.html file has been downloaded
using Save As... from the File menu.
Internet Explorer actually modifies the file slightly when it is saved like that.
To hide this help page, click the help
button or on the background around the boxes, or press the Escape key.

PLEASE NOTE: You have not yet successfully built this page or saved changes from within this browser. If your browser security settings do not allow that, then you will have to open this page as an application. In that case it will not be possible to save changes you have made from within this browser.
PLEASE NOTE: The browser you are currently using does not support saving changes or building this page using your favorites. Also, some features on this help page may not work properly. Each box represents a folder in your Internet Explorer favorites
and contains the same favorites and sub-folders as that folder. You must move the mouse pointer over the title of a box to open it.
Boxes do not close if you move the mouse pointer over the help page, or near the top, right or bottom edges when the scrollbar is enabled.
Clicking on the background around the boxes will close both an open box and the help page.
After making changes to this page, click the sync button and save the changes. If you move
a favorite to a different folder, both this page and your Internet Explorer favorites will be updated.
Move the mouse pointer over the favorite and
click the left mouse button. Move the mouse while holding left mouse button down.
The Recycle Box will appear. Move the mouse pointer over it and let go of the
mouse button. The favorite is now marked for deletion. The undo
button will appear. You can click it to move the favorite back
to its original position. Favorites in the Recycle Box will be deleted from both this page
and your Internet Explorer favorites when you click the sync button and save changes.
You can do that from the Favorites menu or by right-clicking on a link. After adding items to your Internet Explorer favorites, click the sync button and rebuild this page.
Click the yellow star on the Internet Explorer toolbar to display your favorites
on the left hand side of the browser window. You can also use the Organize Favorites
feature on the Favorites menu. After making changes to your Internet Explorer favorites,
click the sync button and rebuild this page.
Please note that settings are not in the undo-redo sequence.
